I'm a triathlete wanna be (prepping for my first next year). I started running this summer with a pair of sneakers designed for midfoot/forefoot strike and thought I loved them, but as I continued to run, they contributed to me getting jumper's knee due to a lack of support (speculating). I purchased the Scott eRide Support (I'm flat footed), and started running in them. The knee pain is gone, legs, feet back feel great. They're a little tight initially around the ball of the foot where the gray strap goes up over the forefoot, but it's not noticeable while running for me. I'm very happy with these and would purchase another pair based on how they've seemingly reversed the knee pain that was getting progressively worse with every run before switching. For somebody with a low arch attempting to run with a midfoot/forefoot strike, they're worthy of a serious look!

I have been wanting to try Scott shoes ever since they came out. The eRide is the first pair I have purchased. They will not be the last! This shoe has performed better than I had expected. I recently ran a 20 mile training run while preparing for a marathon, no problems even in the last miles. I have worn just about every brand you can think of in the past 35 years of running, these are a good as any pair I have owned.I currently alternate every three days, Karhu, Somnio and now Scott. I will soon be alternating with two pairs of Scott.
Wears this shoe: I wear this shoe every third run. I alternate shoes daily.
