Running is both a competition and a type of training for sports that have running or endurance components. As a sport, it is split into events divided by distance and sometimes includes permutations such as the obstacles in steeplechase and hurdles. Running races are contests to determine which of the competitors is able to run a certain distance in the shortest time. Today, competitive running events make up the core of the sport of athletics. Events are usually grouped into several classes, each requiring substantially different athletic strengths and involving different tactics, training methods, and types of competitors.
Saucony Cohesion 6 H&L CAMomOf2

Across 2 girls I'm on my 4th pair of these and hope they keep making them. My girl with wide feet fits the wide and my other the regular and they both seem true to size and my girls reach for these for all casual wear. My older girl runs more seriously now and appreciates the cushion and support. They go through the wash and come out great. They also seem to "stretch" with them so I only have to buy the next full size.

Saucony Grid Cohesion 6 Good Shoe

I am hard on shoes. I bought this shoe because I liked the previous versions. It is probably one of the best priced shoes on the market. The new shoe is not as sturdy as the previous ones. I would wear the '5' for a marathon but not the '6'.

I ordered the Catalyst in the blue/pink/citron. I love the color!!! They fit perfectly even with my inserts for plantar faciatis. I always go up 1/2 a size when I buy athletic shoes because of the inserts. I wear this shoe for walking and any other activity. I am very happy with this shoe and highly recommend it. Super comfy!!!

Saucony Grid Excursion TR6 Favorite trail shoe

This is the 3 or 4th pair of the Saucony Gridtrail shoes that I've had. They grip the rocky trails in this area well and provide a lot of cushioning for my feet. I normally wear a ladies size 5 but buy these in a 6.5 to have plenty of room for thick hiking socks. They have a wide, comfortable toe box.
