Bought these for my eleven year old son with autism because they have velcro closures (not easy to find in shoes his size). Great arch support which he also needs. They fit him perfect and look great.

This is a very comfortable, durable shoe for boys. We needed all black for a school uniform and this one fits the bill. Our son loves it -- dressy enough for the uniform and still athletic enough for recess and gym. These lasted almost the entire school year looking good, despite every day wear by an active, active boy.

I have looked for an all black sneaker for the past three years, and finally found one. It also comes in wide, which is another criterion for us. This shoe saved me from buying two pair of shoes - one for school and one for gym. Also, it has velcro closures, so new untied shoes multiple times a day, and easy on and off in the winter. I bought two sizes so we'll have the next size up when we change sizes this winter.
