Product Description (Women's Saucony ProGrid Ride 5)

A full ounce lighter than its predecessor, the Ride 5 is the most responsive version of this shoe to date. The heel edge is beveled (rounded) for a smoother transition from heel strike to midfoot, and more flex grooves have been carved into the forefoot design for better overall fl exibility. The heel-to-toe offset has been adjusted from 12mm to 8mm to promote a more balanced, efficient stride throughout the gait cycle, while the ProGrid™ technology (previously in heel only) has been extended to the entire foot bed for a more seamless feel.

This shoe feels great.Very comfortable and alot of support. I have bought Saucony in the past and really like their shoes. I wear a size 5 and it is very hard to find in stores.

Loved that they lowered the heel of the shoe from the previous model. My only problem is that the seam on the inside of my shoe (near the bottom of the lacing at the start of the tongue) isn't smooth, so it rubs up and essentially chaffes my foot. I'm having a hard time doing longer runs on these because of the foot irritation.

I have a very high arch and under pronate when walking or running and this shoe out of the box provides arch support, heal comfort and overall cushioning like no other! To say I love them is an understatment as I wear them 8 hours a day on my feet at work without foot/leg fatigue. And I've run in them and enjoyed running like never before.
