The ProGrid Kinvara is a neutral running shoe that allows your foot to run uninhibited. It features minimal midsole construction with protection from the pavement, an EVA sock liner and a lightweight, breathable upper. This shoe has a Heel ProGrid LITE and EVA+ midsole. The XT-900 carbon rubber outsole offers exceptional traction properties without sacrificing stability.

Fit: This style tends to run small. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

Nice and light, but not so durable February 26, 2012

Pros: Extremely light, great for hot weather, looks cute, comfortable.Cons: Not very durable if you're a regular runner. Running 20 miles/week for 9 months in these shoes, the soles were almost worn through, and there were rips in the upper.

This is my third pair of Saucony Kinvara. They are as light as a feather, and provide amazing arch support. I have always had problems with aching arches, but when I wear these shoes, I have no arch pain. I would recommend these shoes to anyone, even if you were not using them as a running shoe.

This is the lightest shoe I have ever worn and has very little structure so you can move your toes around and get an almost barefoot feel. Great for running on the road, but because of the lack of lateral support, I would not recommend for walking, fitness classes, or trail running.
