I was fitted for a running shoe by a company that specializes in orthotics, etc. Based on my foot issues (severe overpronation) this shoe was recommended to me as the best shoe that would give me a perfect base for my custom orthtics. A ran in the shoe before my orthotics were ready, and I loved it even as it was. My wife & daughter also got a similar shoe (Hurricane) ... note that ALL of us had to go up a half size in this shoe for a proper fit. I normally go up a half size in my shoes I use for running anyhow, but I went up a full size here. This was also the best price I found online!

The Saucony PG Triumph 9 is a comfortable, well ventilated, and lightweight shoe. I am a 200lb runner with high arches who runs about 25 miles/week. My only issue with this shoe is that I get a plantar soreness when I run extended miles in these (which is more of a personal foot anatomy issue, than one with the shoe itself). Otherwise, I'd give a 5/5 rating.

Only managed to kick tobacco habit 30 years ago by substituting running ("Runner's High" is much more satisfying). Ran for 5 years and got out of it. Haven't run seriously until a month ago - so Saucony my ride back into the activity. Very pleased w/ fit, comfort, appearance, and surface "grab". No complaints here, and I would highly recommend.

I had already tried on this shoe in a store near my house, and really liked it. It is a flat soled shoe, for a non-heel-first strider. It is also neutral, not made for an over-pronater. I like the shoe, and it fits my foot well because it has a nice heel to it. A lot of times my heel slides upward in shoes, but the Powergrid Triumph 9 has a good heel that kinda cups my foot, holding the foot firmly in place when I run. All-in-all a great shoe that fits me well.
