I own one other pair of Saucony shoes so I decided to give these a shot without knowing how they'd workout. I had read several reviews and most were very favorable. Wow, I'm glad I bought these. I did not buy these to run in. I'm sure they could serve that purpose, but I bought these as casual shoes. They are extremely comfortable and a fair price. I can't ask for much else, but my last two pairs of shoes I have bought have been Saucony and my 3rd pair will come sooner than later.

These shoes are not for everyone. These are high quality running shoes for a certain stride and strike. Having said that, these are perfect for ME. I get 250 - 300 miles per pair. They wear very well. In fact, the soles will still be in good shape when I retire a pair. I know they're done when the soles and cushion begin to compress. Even after retirement, they make good walking shoes.I felt compelled to write this review because I've seen many review that criticize these shoes. My wife had a bad experience as well due to her dramatic toe strike. These shoes are ideal for individuals with a medium stride length and forefoot strike. They are well constructed, and very light. These are great for distance runners that need a specialized shoe. I LOVE these shoes and now will only buy this model, but, my opinion is that these are not perfect for everyone. Be honest with yourself when you're picking out training shoes. If you need a lot of support, find a shoe that provides what your body needs. I have found these shoes to be well constructed with good materials. They wear very well. They're comfortable out of the box. The only negative is that these are so specialized. Anyone buying these for distance running should make certain that these are the right fit for their running style.

Have been wearing them about a month only for my daily walks. They are light weight and comfortable.The foot board is removeable so I'am able to use my NB rigid insoles.Yes,I would recommend these shoes.
