This style features Comfortemp®, a revolutionary new material that senses the temperature of your feet. When the foot temperature warms up to 82 degrees, Comfortemp activates to creat a pleasant cooling effect. Also, by absorbing heat it naturally keeps the foot dry and comfortable. When the foot temperature drops below a preset temperature, Comfortemp releases the stored heat creating a warming effect.
Features archlock, lightweight, breathable mesh and durable leather.
Midsole includes a de-coupled crash zone to soften landing on heel strike, non-visible grid system providing stable cushioning in the heel and an HRC strobel board that increases cushioning and step-in comfort.
Outsole has flex grooves that provide flexibility with the natural motion of the foot, a triangular lug design that provides traction and cushioning and XT-600TM carbon rubber that provides traction.

My 6 years old wears this shoe almost everyday. This is the third pair of Saucony's we have bought him. \They hold up very well against anything an active young boy can throw at them. \His feet do stay cool in these shoes.
