I bought this shoe as a replacement for an older formal shoe because it was true patent leather, not plastic. My only disappointment was that it came with a plastic sole. I was expecting leather. Not sure that will matter in the long run, but it is a cheaper shoe than I expected.First time wearing was okay, comfortable. It may turn out okay after all.
