Being both big and tall, shoe comfort is critical for me. Having owned Rockport casuals in the past, I decided to try the dress line for business attire; and I am glad that I did. The Evander looks good and fits even better. It is even waterproof. This shoe is a winner. Way to go Rockport. I will be back for more...

These are quality shoes, made from robust leather and durable rubber. I'm impressed with the workmanship.Because my feet are flat and narrow, I generally have trouble finding traditional oxfords that fit. Not surprisingly, I found this true with the Dunham Battery Park Waterproof Oxford. I ordered a B width, but still found them roomy.After inserting a used footbed from an old pair of New Balance cross trainers beneath the existing footbed, and re-lacing them corset-style to maximize their tightness, things improved. Since my foot sits low, the top rear of the shoe tends to dig into the space between my heel and ankle.But I haven't given up yet. I'm still working with them. I expect as the leather softens, these will become old trusted friends.
