The Erie is a traditional style loafer, wear it with trousers or shorts, socks or not. This is my fourth pair, if I am not careful in my shoe selection I am prone to backaches.

Purchased first pair at a discount store 6 years ago as just an around-the-house shoe.Wear them all the time (have a home office), get them wet, garden in them, walk the dog, etc. and they still are holding up.Surprisingly well-made and value priced shoe. Purchased second pair not so much due to style, but due to wearability.Highly recommend.
