I have been wearing Docs for a long time, so it is fun to have a new pair of the classic style. These are by far the most confortable and durable shoes available. They actually broke in after only wearing them a couple of times, so now they feel great.
Wears this shoe: To work, church and anytime I dress up.

I wanted A sturdy shoe that would be comfortable and versatile yet stylish. As A college professor, I'm on my feet all day, often in the laboratory, and this shoe protects my feet from spilled chemicals/broken glass yet still looks professional with A blouse & khakis. And I can wear them on the weekend with jeans when I'm out around town. ShoeBuy provided me with the best price and fast shipping--and when I mistakenly ordered A size too big they exchanged it quickly with no questions asked.

Dr. Martens have always been A comfortable, supportive shoe. While I must admit, the Gibson feel a tad bit smaller then marked, you must understand that they will stretch with wear, so don't order A larger size, wear them in, and have them for A long time!

This is my fourth pair, obviously I like these shoes. However it take a while for the shoes to get broken in and take the shape of your foot. Once they are broken in they are very confortable.

I had never had any real Doc Marten's and I love them! They are every bit as comfortable as everyone says, and I have terrible feet.

These are OK, but not the best Docs.

The two week break in period was killer, but no worse than some work boots I have had to break in. I bought these to wear with my military dress uniform. They would be on my feet for extended periods of time where I would not get a chance to sit down. I didn't put any insoles in them (which they could have used) and my feet would be a tad sore for a couple hours afterwards, but not nearly as bad as other dress shoes that I have had to wear. I have had this pair for 6 years and still wear them once in awhile. They have held up great, and still look new when the leather has been conditioned.
Wears this shoe: When I dress up.
Beware of the Dr. Martens Gibson.

I bought this shoe because of positive word of mouth over the years. I wish I hadn't listened. These are without question the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn. The width and length are fine. The support on the bottom of the shoe is fine. The problem is the inside of the heel. It is extremely hard and sharp. Each time you take a step it feels like it slices into your heel. after wearing them for a half hour I had to take them off because of the pain. When I removed my socks, there were big cuts on both heels and lots of blood. I would not recomend these shoes to anyone.

the shoe lasts for 1.5 years (but you should buy a dr. shoulls soul for it at some point). It takes about two weeks to break in the shoes (have lots of bandaids ready to put on your foot to protect against blisters) but after that they are the best shoes you could ever buy! This is my 3rd pair

These are very comfortable shoes, that really fit well. They look good, and the rubber sole is much better than that of "dress" shoes for what I wanted. I work in a retail store, so I am on my feet alot, and the shoes give me the cushion and support I need. This is my 2nd pair - 1st pair is over 10 years old and still going, but not quite in good enough shape to wear to work at this point.

These feel and look just like the Dr. Martens I started wearing 25 years ago, with that wonderful, two week, getting to know you, break in period. But I may not buy Dr. Martens again since they are now made in China.

Snug, but nice fit

The shoe is snug, which is ok because it will loosen up as it breaks in. It's better to be a little snug than loose. Like previous Doc's I have purchased, the heel is stiff at first and hurts my feet, but I know from experience that once they have break in, they will fit like a glove. This is my 4th pair of docs: 1 boot and 3 shoes.

The shoes are nice. Very stiff to begin with. The quality is not as good as the English made ones from a few years back but still well made.
