This is my second pair of Marcos and these shoes suit me better than the first pair I bought 4 years ago. My first pair needed to be broken in but my new shoes were comfortable right out of the box. The only problem I'll report with these shoes is that the shoe strings are too long. Since I have narrow feet I bought a B width shoe but the strings that came with the shoe are apparently for wider shoes. I'll have to replace these strings with some shorter ones. You'd think they'd pay more attention to that detail at the factory ? narrower shoes, naturally, need shorter strings.I was pleased with the delivery time and also want to say that it's hard for me to find shoes since I have narrow feet so I really appreciate having a venue where I have a selection from which to choose.

My favorite shoes ever. I wear them everyday to work. Deerskin on top of the shoe makes it soft, durable and "crests" do not hurt your feet. Also shoe looks like new for very long time.

I purchased these in chili calf/deer skin in a size ten.I was happy to see they were in stock, the shipping was free and they arrived within a few days. The reason I chose this pair was that I was looking for a nice dress shoe, leather soled, without a pointy toe, and that showed a nice quality of brown leather grain. My only complaint is that they were actually a bit of a darker brown than I had expected. The picture looked tobacco colored to me, the shoes are actually between tobacco and coffee. This was a minor disappointment though, as the leather grain still shows and looks nice.Especially after a light colored waxing. I am completely happy with the shoe in all other areas.
Wears this shoe: Occasionally to work, I avoid around-town walking.

Sharp looking shoe! Very comfortable; it does feel about a half-size larger than similar shoes (I wear a size 12) but the overall fit is very good.

These shoes are absolutely beautiful and I wore them comfortably for several hours the first day with now break-in time needed. The leather is gorgeous, and the deerskin parts are buttery soft.

If you appreciate a spacious toe box, Bostonian is your shoe. I've worn Bostonians for more than a decade & though I often find other appealing styles, i.e. Cole Haan, I always come back to Bostonian. This shoe is made of quality materials & workmanship and I especially love the deerskin mid-foot... super comfortable with very little break-in time.

The shoe felt like a good leather shoe, but it cut into my ankle bones, making it very uncomfortable. It is made in India, and like most shoes that are made in India or China, there is very poor quality control and you never know what you are going to get. Overall, the shoe was disappointing.
