OK shoe for church

We usually buy Stride Rite dress shoes and decided to try the Hush Puppies this time around - big mistake. They don't fit the same, seemed to be a smaller/tighter fit, my son got heel blisters after just ONE hour in church and hardly any walking - I had to put heel liners in so he can wear them - so comfort level is definitely not near what the Stride Rites are. Won't buy this brand again.

Got this shoe for my son, knowing he'll only be wearing it a couple hours each week for 6-8 months until he grows out of it. It looks nice and serves the purpose as a dress shoe, but that's as far as it will go in our household.

Sturdy shoe for rough boys

I bought two pair of these shoes because both my boys, ages 12 and 9 years, are very rough on shoes. They have to wear these shoes everyday as a part of their school uniform. I have found that buying these sturdy made shoes last alot longer than buying a cheap brand of shoe that I have to replace every 3 months. The last pair of these shoes I bought lasted the whole school year! They can be worn with their school uniform and their church clothes, the boys say they are comfortable and they fit well. I will buy more of these shoes when they wear out, which should be about the same time next year.

The only thing that dissappointed me was that the shoes were not leather. I did not realize it when I purchased them. Otherwise, they are nice.
