I wear this shoe for work. I stand on concrete floors for 8 hours a day. I prefer a sturdy shoe with a good sole that keeps my feet off the floor. This shoe performs perfectly. I would order a half size larger to be on the safe side. These shoes are extremely confortable and have plenty of room in the toe box, if you wear a heavier sock that is important. I didn't have to break them in either. Comfortable from the first day. Great slip resistant sole.

I had surgery on both feet. These are the only brand that doesn't hurt my feet. I do wear inlays and if I have to I can take the brand inlays out, but I don't have to. I won't buy any other brand.

I have a very narrow foot and a ladies' shoe fits my foot much better than a man's shoe. The shoe is comparable to a man's 9 which is what I wear.

I am a pastry chef and I'm on my feet for 9 hours a day. I previously had another sketcher kitchen shoe that was good. I went on line and found this Sketcher Softie. I love it. It gives me full support being a laced shoe and I didn't have to break them in.

When I first ordered the sneakers, I wasn't too sure, if I would receive the right size or not. The sneakers arrived and I am very pleased to say, they were the PERFECT size and fit. I am a server and I'm on my feet at least 8-10 hours a day, I can truly say, my feet Never hurt and no blisters on my ankles. This is a great company to order from. I bought these shoes because I am a waitress, and I was getting to the point where I couldn't even stand or walk around after work because of the pain in my feet, especially in the heels. These shoes have made a HUGE difference in that pain. I used to literally pace back and forth or kind of hop in circles at work when I had downtime to avoid standing still, (which made the pressure on my heels hurt worse), and I haven't had to do that one time since I bought these Skechers. My heels still hurt after a long row of consecutive days of waitressing, but there is no such thing as a shoe that could take away that pain completely. These shoes are as good as it gets. I would definitely recommend them for cashiers, waitresses, nurses, or any other people who find themselves hurting because of the amount of time they spend on their feet at work.

When my job in the Food Service Industry started requiring that all employee wear slip-resistent shoes I wasn't sure where to look for them. First, I tried the buying them from the company they recommended, but they were SOOOO UNCOMFORTABLE that I stopped wearing them. Even with my arch supports and gel inserts, they were terrible. Then I found ShopBuy.com while surfing the internet. Since then I have probably bought at least a dozen pair of Softies. I usually buy them every 6 months, and they work for me. After a breaking-in period, they are comfortable and durable. They are also very affordable.

I really like these shoes, although I would like them even more if the cushion had a little more comfort and support. I am a waitress and have been for 35 years, and the constant pounding on the concrete is tough on my legs and feet. I bought orthotics to put in the shoes. I would buy these shoe again.

This shoe fit correctly from the first wearing. With pervious shoes, I suffered with significant lower back and knee pain after each 10+ hour shift....not with the Skeetcher Softies!
