This is a very comfortable shoe for all day wear. It has a very soft innersole. I thought it was a little short for size. I would buy this style again, but would purchase a half size larger.

The San Mateo woven leather mule is one of SoftWalk's best shoes. Extremely well made, yet stylish and comfortable, this shoe is worth the money. I have it in several colors and love them all.

These, like the previous shoes I ordered are the most comfortable shoes I own. I had ordered them before and was wearing them everyday. So, I decided to order them in another color.

Thought the shoe would be more comfortable but it isn't. I ordered a 7.5W and although it is wide enough, the shoe part above the middle of my foot is tight and somehow my little toe is hitting something inside but I can't figure out what.

I can put these shoes on straight from the box and wear them all day! They need no breaking in--a first for me in any kind of shoes.The "waffle" soles are perfect for someone who has had plantar facitis, bone spurs, plantar's warts--any kind of foot problem because the soles absorb the tenderness in the foot.

I would really love to have an arch support built into the shoe. I have plantar fasciitis and it is the only shoe I can walk in that makes my heel feel better but the arch would help so much more. Putting an orthotic in it defeats its purpose.

These shoes are so comfy I put them on and wore them all day first time. I have wide feet so I needed extra wide - these are the first I found that really fit.

This is my second pair of San Mateo's. First I purchased the red ones and love them. This time I got the brown (walnut) woven ones. The fit is great and as with most SoftWalk are very comfortable. I wear a width width and finding stylish flats is sometimes a challenge but these are great.

I liked the style of the shoe but it is very very stiff and uncomfortable for me and hurts my feet so I will not wear them.

bought this shoe for trip to Brugge, Brussels - a cobblestoned, medieval city - were very comfortable and was able to wear them every day - used the second pair I brought one day and then went back to these. Really cushion the feet against all the cobblestones...

This is a very comfortable shoe which I wish came in a narrower width. Compared to some Easy Spirits I've bought which are the same basic style, this seems a bit wider. But it's overall a nice looking, basic shoe. I don't think I'd wear with skirts, but then I seldom wear skirts. Works for me.

I just love my shoes, it's wide and ohhhhh so comfortable not to mention beautiful. I've had a lot of compliments on my shoes I have wide feet . I did buy another pair of shoes, but it was too big,I had no problem sending it back for a full refund and free shipping. Love it , love it, love it. Can't wait to buy my next pair.

Softwalk shoes are very comfortable. I bought the LaVon style this summer for a trip to Ireland and they were wonderful. So I wanted to try the San Mateo.
