This is the best walking shoe I have bought. I work on concrete floors for 9 plus hours a day. And when I got home all I'd want to do is get off my feet. Now I'm good to go! It used to bother me to walk in malls or even talk a walk with my kids, not anymore. And I like the Velcro straps, easy on and off. I would recommend this shoe to anyone.

I am a Type ll Diabetic. I was at a point with my feet that I was in constant pain. I went to the Foot Doctor at my Hospital to see if there was any solutions to my foot problems. Well to try to make a long story as short as possible, the Doctor came up with his Medical book with certain shoes in it for people like myself with severe foot problems. Well the truth of the matter is, there was my Brooks Addiction Hook & Loop 2. I am a 64 year old man that will never buy any thing but this shoe again. My foot problems have improved so much with the fit, comfort, stability that it was like a Miracle. I have put up with the pain in my feet for almost four years. I am like a new person now, not 100% pain free but such an improvement!

I have been buying Brooks Addictions for several years. My last purchase was my third. I buy them because my very good DPM recommends them, both for folks with spur-arthritis problems and for diabetics. They are very comfortable,offer a lot of support, and are true to size. During a recent hospital Diabetes Support Group meeting dealing with Diabetic foot health, the Podiathist pointed to my Brooks as an example of a good shoe for diabetics.
Wears this shoe: any non-athletic event. I wear a cross-trainer in exercise class.

Have bought Brooks shoes before and loved them. Comfy, roomy enough for orthotics, make feet feel great even after a hilly 6 mile walk. Fairly stylish for a walking shoe... even with the 2 velcro straps.

I bought these sneakers for my dad and he says they are very comfortable. What he like about them is that you slide them on...pull the tabs...and your out the door. No fumbling around trying to tie the laces.

I like it for the ease of putting it on and off. I recently severed 3 and 1/2 fingers on my right hand andcouldn't tie my shoes, so I gave them a try. Much easier.

Purchased shoe for walking and work wear after surgery requiring arm in sling for six weeks preventing tying shoes. Velcro straps work well, easily applied with snug fit for walking. Comfortable, good support.
