My second pair. However, the right inside heel has a steel like band near the top that is really rough on the ankle. Hoping it will break in better because I loved my last ones.

I tried this shoe because I was tired of paying so much for fully lined mephisto boat shoes. Now, I like this shoe better and find it more comfortable. Read the specs for this shoe and you will see why - fully lined and comfort insole. No more Mephisto for me.

Excellent shoe. Size and fit are perfect. With the deerskin lining, it fits like a glove. It is worth it to spend a little more to get a comfortable shoe. I recommend it to anyone.

I like Sperry shoes, but I feel the quality has suffered in the last few years compared to what they used to be like. It is not a premier shoe, but it's OK for everyday use.

I bought this pair of Sperry Gold Cups after owning two other pairs of this shoe in different colors. If you want a VERY comfortable boat shoe you can wear all day, this is the shoe for you. I cannot comment on the other models of boat shoes Sperry sells, but the Gold Cup version is excellent.I do not believe you will be disappointed with these shoes.

Very stylish and good looking, bought for casual dress.Quality made and comfortable, though not very supportive or cushioned. My only complaint is left shoe rubs against left ankle causing irritation, when worn without socks.

Very high quality construction on this shoe.Quite comfortable as well, with full leather lining.The shoes are also light weight, which I prefer.You don't feel like you're walking around in lead shoes.All in all a great buy.

Insole not Glued Properly

Sperry should be able to put the glue on the bottom of the insole not on the top. The insole stays glued to my foot every time I take the shoes on and off. This is my second pair. The quality has gone down the tubes - my first pair were worth five stars!

I have bought two other pairs of these shoes. The comfort and support are unmatched. I walk around a large facility all day and these feel great and look nice, too. The only problem is that the last pair I bought lasted less than two years, which is a poor track record for a shoe in this price range. I'm trying another of the same style to see if this pair does better. The upper separated from the sole on the first pair, and it could not be repaired.

As other reviewers have said, I am finding that the shoes require a break in period. I am optimistic that they will be very good once they are fully broken in. The linings are plush and soft. The insoles do stick to your feet when you take the shoes off, I have found that a little powder every three or four wearings solves this problem. I am not a boater but like the style and hope to make these my primary "Summer Shoe". Obviously, these have been made with extra care and comfort in mind which justifies the higher price.They make an "Old Man" feel Cool/Stylish.
