Why Minnetonka

Many years ago (30), I bought a pair of Minnetonka moccasins just like the ones I just purchased from you. The only reason I bought a new pair was that the lacing around the toe parted with age. My new pair are just as comfortable as the old ones. I would buy another pair again. Good work all around.

Hey, they don't look like much more than deerskin wrapped around my pinkies, but these sure are comfy. I remember making mocs in Boy Scouts 40 some years ago, and I was looking for something along those lines. The sole pad provides a bit of padding under the feet, so its almost like walking barefoot, but avoids the typical sheep or shearling lining, which in my case results in sweaty foot syndrome leading to foot crud. I only wear them inside. Would be nice if they came in darker colors, but who's stylin' around the house anyway?My only complaint is the leather ties for laces. They don't stay tied, so I'll either chop them off or sew the bow shut.

The shoe is fine in all respects except that I would have preferred them a little wider. Apparently you do not make them in different widths so I will just wear them wet and allow them to stretch.

I like the softness and the suppleness of the leather, I am particularly glad that my sister-in-law provided us with the catalog to order ; having been disappointed when I went to the store that used to sell them and no longer had them in stock.Coming from Hawaii, I was at a loss as to where else could I purchase that particular shoe.

I would like Minnetonka to make this product in anextra wide width. I wear size 11 4E .To get the extra width I ordred the Minnetonka in size 13 to get more width and inserted an insert for better fit. The only width available is medium.

Nice Indoor Slipper

I have always wanted a 100% soft leather version - instead of the widely available ones with fur on the inside and the thin plastic/rubber sole. This moc is everything I hoped for - soft and well made. You get soft leather against your foot, and another soft layer against the ground - with a slight amount of foam cushioning between them in the arch area. Really comfortable - I hope they last a long time. I will only wear them inside the house.

I prefer to be barefoot, and this moc is as close as I can get to that state while protecting my feet from harm. I ONLY wear Minnetonkas or sandals, never any other shoe.

My Deerskins are replacing synthetic fur-lined moccasins; no comparison. The Deerskins are kid gloves for the feet. They are extremely soft and subtle, almost too soft to slip your foot in without using your hand. I assume they breathe, as I have not had an issue with foot sweats. These are the most comfortable house shoe I have ever owned. My only concern is how long they will last. They seem too soft to provide much longevity. Hopefully I will be proven wrong on that account.
Wears this shoe: lounging around the house, almost exclusively indoors.
