High quality but heavy

Shoe Size: Felt true to size
This is a very well made, high quality shoe. However, it is so solid, it is heavy to wear. It was required by my son's high school, so we did not have a choice on style. I would not have purchased something so heavy duty otherwise.

This shoe was exactly what I had hoped it would be. The shoe fit my exact size and I was thrilled because most shoes, even a wide width 10 and a half are too small, but this was great. Plus it is very comfortable. The last pair of Sketchers dress shoes I bought like this lasted me 8 years!

I purchased this shoe for my son, as his high school dress code approved this style. The quality seems very high and my son said they are comfortable.

This is my second pair of Skechers 'Alley Cats'. I like this style shoe because it's like a great pair of jeans- it never goes out of style. Plus, these shoes are styled ambiguously in a sense that they can be worn on dressier occasions or formal occasions. They are always comfortable and have solid construction. I highly recommended these.
Wears this shoe: Evverywhere except in bed and at the gym.

This is my 5th pair of these that I have had in 10 years. They last so much longer than any other shoe I've owned, except for the laces. The laces do need improvement.

This is a great shoe! This is the third time I have got this shoe in the past few years. It holds up great! It seems to run bigger than other brands. I ordered one size smaller than my usual size in other brands.

I think this is my third pair of alley cats and I really like them. I like the thicker sole and they really hold up well. They are not considered the scratch resistent kind however, they don't scratch up hardly at all. Over time they do wear of course but I wear them every day to work and to church on Sundays and any other time I need a casual shoe other than gym shoes. Great shoe.

I love these shoes. They're very stylish and go with anything. I bought them as general "run around" shoes; that is, if I need to make a quick run to the store or just need a shoe I can slip on easily for a trip to the pub, then these shoes work. The only problem is despite the fact that I've worn them long enough to have broken them in already, the soles feel a little stiff. The rubber material used isn't very spongy or cushy. This makes extended periods of wear somewhat problematic. Despite this relatively minor comfort issue, I'd probably buy these shoes again.

I love these shoes. This is my 4th pair and I'll keep buying them. They are a bit heavy and bulky but that's what I like about them. One thing is, go a half size bigger if you use orthdics.
