2nd pair

I thought I trashed the last pair. Always looking for a good rain shoe and this fits the bill. I found the 1st pair, 2 years old, still ok, but the tip of the soul is separating a little from the shoe per se. I am rough on them (construction management in the field)and these look close enough to a steel toed shoe to not get me in trouble, but comfortable enough that I can wear them back to the office, lunch etc.

Been wearing Nocona western boots since the mid 60's because I could never find a shoe that was as comfortable & gave me good support....these provide the almost the same arch support as my boots boots & are actually more comfortable. I highly recomend these & will be getting another pair on payday.

I have tried dozens of shoes in several styles including propet, rockport, redwing, etc. The Dunham shoe is far better looking and stays looking like new longer. Very comfortable for the long days on your feet. I would highly recommend these to anyone needing a comfortable shoe appropriate for work or casual.

My partner normally wears a 15.5 4E . This shoe was a 15 4E but seemed muched wider and slightly longer. My partner will have to wear thicker socks!

If I had a shoe made to measure I would wear a 12 3/4, kind of wide shoe. A 12 1/2is too tight and a 13 is too loose and a wide shoe is too wide. This shoe fits perfect and while I have a perfectly good pair that I wear almost every day, I bought a stylish pair of ECCO size 13 and they are too tight for daily wear. I ordered this pair as a extra for the future in case they cease making this model

Hard to break in, but once you do they are a great all day shoe and last a good long time. The waterproof feature is a great advantage too.

Took a while, but I found them...

I wanted something stylish, in black. And I found them. I went through 6+ pairs before I found the kind I liked (these). What I especially like is I can wear these with jeans or with nice slacks - goes with both! My last Dunham lasted MANY years so I know they're built to last. The laces tie well, not too thick, not too thin. I got X-wide and they are plenty wide for me. At first I was unhappy with the ends of the shoes where you slide you feet, there's a gap.. but its meant so your heel slides in easier - now I don't mind it so much and actually protects the shoe long-term from damage when you slip it on real quick. One thing I don't like is the bottoms are a little too slippery in snow. Last pair of Dunhams handled better in snow, but not that big a deal. With my feet, I found my feet are more comfortable with dress socks (nylon) as compared to regular white cotton socks. Just an observation. With regular white cotton socks, they can get hot/sweaty in the shoes, but it could just be me, and it happens when I'm at work (sitting in front of a PC all day), again, just an observation. hope it all helps

This is my 4th pair. No break in required. I wear a 6E width. This is the only pair of shoes I wear and I use it for dress, casual and outside. They are truly superb.
