I am very satisfied with this boot. Those rainy/muddy days can wreck havoc on shoes in general. The Superior 5-Eye is extremely comfortable and is the perfect boot for those less than favorable outdoor conditions. The only reason that I cannot give 5 stars is because of the misleading picture on the website. I thought for sure that the boot would be a lighter shade of brown but, the entire boot is really dark brown?! Overall, I'm satisfied.
Wears this shoe: When it rains, for outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking,etc.

A pretty solid shoe, although a bit large July 01, 2009

The shoe was decently priced, and lived up to its promise of being waterproof.However, the photo on the website had a different colored shoe than the one that I actually got in the mail. The difference between light brown and dark brown is not a huge deal for me, but I would have preferred the lighter brown shoe that was pictured and which I thought I was buying.The shoe also ran a bit larger and wider than I expected from the size that I ordered.ShoeBuy was prompt in shipping the shoe, and overall I am satisfied with the order.

I read meters for a rural electric company in Southern Mississippi and I needed something to wear early morning when there is a lot of dew on the grass, etc. and on rainy days. Regular leather shoes get saturated with water all the way through to my socks. These 3-eye duck shoes are great. I have been wearing them for about 2 weeks now and have not had any wet socks. They are comfortable, durable, and not hot, even on a warm day. The temperature has been in the mid-80's here but these shoes are still comfortable. 'great buy for the money.

These are great boots - I ordered a pair in my usual size, but found they ran one size too small, so I exchanged them for the next full size up. Seem to be well made, and very comfortable. Time will tell.

The 5 eye Superior Duck boots arrived a few days after I ordered them and I have worn them at least 2 dozen times since in snow, mud and on wet and dry sidewalks. They are comfortable and have met all of my expectations. I am considering buying a second pair to have on hand at the cabin.

I bought these for my son to wear his freshman year of college. They have been hit with several feet of snow, blizzard type conditions and below zero temps. He informed me they keep his feet warm, and have great traction.
