Don't buy inexpensive shoe trees November 13, 2009
Reviewer: Donald W. from Baton Rouge, LA
The J&M Washburn Shoe Tree is superior to most any other reasonably priced shoe trees. It's design maximizes shoe shape and conformity. For those who wear Alden, AE, Crockett Jones, then you want to protect your investment.

Nice shoe tree for an "Adjustable" November 11, 2009
Reviewer: Arthur from Chicago
This is a very good quality for an adjustable shoe tree (made to fit a size range, not an exact last in an exact size). Fits my JM shoes pretty well. The extra material in the instep helps keep the shape on top of the shoe better than some of the cheaper versions out there.

These shoe trees are amazing! October 09, 2008
Reviewer: Jeannie Schnur from Ashburn, VA
I bought these for a pair of shoes a few years ago and recently bought another nice pair so I had to get the same shoe trees because the quality is great.

Great product May 05, 2008
Reviewer: Anonymous from Washington, DC
These shoe trees fill out the interior of shoes very nicely. The are overall thicker and heavier than most regular shoe trees (might be too thick for some narrower/finer shoes). Quality-wise they're solid and the cedar smells great.

High quality, good value March 28, 2008
Reviewer: Ben from New York, NY
My primary complaint with most shoe trees on the market is that they only fill about about 30% of my shoe, as most are shaped such that the tree does not extend over a large part of the upper. You won't have that problem with these trees; they do a great job of filling out the entire heel and lace areas, and fit my shoes very snugly. Overall I'm very satisfied.

Men's J&M Washburn Shoe Tree Review July 03, 2007
Reviewer: Al from Cincinnati
Virtually identical to the more-expensive ShoeKeeper Washburn. Only difference I noticed was the ShoeKeeper Washburn's metal parts are brass-plated versus the J&M's chrome-plated or stainless steel finish. ?Rochester? is stamped on the metal shafts of both. I especially like its raised vamp. The tensioner exerts enough force to hold the tree securely in the shoe. Fits my size 13D shoes well.

Men's Johnston & Murphy Washburn Shoe Tree Review April 11, 2007
Reviewer: Michael from San Francisco
Yes, this is a very spendy shoe tree, but it certainly is a well constructed and fitting one. The shoe tree is a toe and heel two piece unit linked by a spring loaded tensioner. I ordered the 'L' size and it fits my 10.5D US size well. The mechanical action of the tensioner exerts enough force to hold itself securely in the shoe. Each shoe tree is finished off with a glazed grab knob. The cedar is very aromatic.

J&M Washburn shoe tree February 20, 2007
Reviewer: Keith G. from California
I have tried less expensive shoe trees and they just do not fit properly, this includes the split toe trees. I especially like the raised vamp on the J&M and it supports the instep of the shoe where it would otherwise sag.
