Most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. They felt like wearing slippers right out of the box. No break-in needed. I wore them all day the day I got them.

Great Shoe with a little work

I work in construction and had a hard time finding a work shoe that was light weight and durable. I needed a low boot that could stand up to work outside and be light enough and comfortable enough to work indoors as well. I also can not use a steel toe as I am outside in the winter a lot and a steel toe will literally freeze your feet off. The catepillar was a good choice. I had owned a pair before and through trial and error knew what to expect and what I would have to do to the shoe to make it a truly excellent light work boot. To make it truly comfortable I used gel inserts which make the Catepillars shoes you can stand all day in. Second, I rub mink oil into the leather a few times a week. This makes the leather supple, water-proof, stain resistant and keeps the boots looking knew. If you are looking for a good work shoe/light boot for a good price - this is the one with a little work.

I loved the shoe. It is very comfortable. You can wear all day. It is very light and very durable. I wish it was made to for cold weather, but overall a great shoe.

Even though the shoe fits very well it just feels better with two pairs of socks. For a somewhat type of work shoe it is very smart looking. I have the light color shoe and it is prone to stain. If you use a water repellant it will difinitely change the color darker. It is a really nice shoe

I am extremely picky about the fit, support, comfort, longevity and looks of a work boot that doubles as a casual wear shoe or boot. All properties appear to be a perfect sum of parts. Put simply, I am the very proud owner of 2 pair, the first still looks so good even after working in them in light construction, that I haven't even bothered to open the new ones for nights on the town. Thanks for a boot well done!

These boots are the best! They are light enough to wear all day, heavy enough to stand up to all weather, rugged enough to take abuse, and stylish enough to get you into any bar. I've clocked up over 3000 miles a year for the past three years in three pairs of these boots. They have outlasted previous pairs of boots with ease

Comfort

Great shoe. Wore it for long days on cement floors and found it to be very comfortable. However, the insole did break down in about a years time. I am buying a second pair off this internet site because the price is right and the shoe is good.

These are great. I work construction and spend time indoors and out. These are comfortable to wear all day long walking a lot and standing a lot. They give good support without the usual weight of boots.

Good shoe

At first, the boots feel like a sneaker, but the insole wears out after a while. The outsole is very durable but is not completely slip resistant on some wet surfaces. The laces on my boots are worn out also. The outer layer of the laces wore through and had to be replaced. The leather boot and sole are still in good condition though.
