These are well made, and I like the strap closure. My orthotics fit under shoe liner.
Not as good as the Life Walker...

Bought this shoe at the same time as the Life Walker and was disappointed in the overall product, especially compared to the Life Walker. Had to send it back for a smaller shoe and it is still too large. The shoe feels clumsy and seems like the souls are very large when driving, etc. The single strap, although quite large, does not allow me to get a good fit, especially with thin socks. I would not buy this shoe again.

I have had other Propet shoes before purchasing this pair. Thus, I "foolishly" thought all Propet shoes give the same comfort. Previous purchases have been like walking on marshmallows; these are like walking on hot coals. Overall, not very comfortable.

This is my 4th pair of Propets, and I love them. There's no break-in necessary, and the single strap closure is a great feature. It's very good looking, too.
Wears this shoe: Anytime I'm not wearing my Propet Stability Walkers.

This is the only brand of shoe my father can wear. He has diabetes, impaired gait and balance and is 87 years old. The extra width gives him the room he needs to ambulate without irritating his feet. Velcro closure is a plus. This shoe is lightweight and it looks like a well made shoe, without looking cumbersome and orthopedic. Dad is very happy with the comfort and fit. He still has the original pair, which is over 5 years old. Propet makes a good quality shoe with an excellent price!

This is the second pair of shoes in this style that my husband has. he likes them because of the fit and comfort,but also, they are easy for him to get on, as he has had open heart surgery and this is easy for him with the straps rather than trying to tie shoe laces.

I am disappointed with Propet Scandia Strap Closure shoes. I really wish Propet made brown shoes with laces, the straps just do not feel comfortable to me. I probably should have returned them, but I didn't. I cannot recommend them. I have a black pair with laces and I wear them to work 3 times a week and love them.
