Reviewer: Brad from Las Vegas Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I've had these boots almost 3 months now and they squeak. Thought at first it was because they were new but I wear them 7 days a week. Very annoying so time to look for something else. I've tried different things to make them stop squeaking but nothing has worked. Other than this they seem to be a good boot but I'm giving them 3 stars because of the noise. He loves the comfort, look, and safety features of these shoes. I really didn't know what to expect, this being my first pair of steel toes, and I had read that the toes can be tight, but they really are true to size. After breaking them in, they were fine. I work at a hotel and I'm on my feet for a good part of my day and these have been very comfortable as well. The only drawback they have for me is that the sole is not slip resistant. Other than that, I've been very happy with them. Wears this shoe: All the time 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: Reviewer: Rob Moore from Tuscaloosa, Al. Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I have been wearing the "energy" series for many years now. My first pair was the Blue Ridge, then I went to the Iron Energy, and now I'm in the process of finishing off another Blue Ridge pair. I also bought a pair of these for casual wear. I work on heavy equipment and am on my feet for about 12 hours a day, and I can tell you they are superbly comfortable. I won't buy a shoe I have to break in. You can put these on and go straight to work. My only drawback is that the rubber toe and heel caps are not very oil resistant and will come apart long before the rest of the shoe is ready to die. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Otherwise, it is a tough and comfortable shoe. If you do not work in a very oily enviroment, give it 5 stars, and go get a pair. The Iron Energies do not have these caps and will last longer, but low cuts are not good for crawling around in grease, oil and dirt. I'm going to try and find a pair of the Energy-Zaire, because of the toe cap issue, if not, I will stick with the Blue Ridge anyway. Comfort means that much to me.
