Arch Support Galore. At first, it felt like too much support. However, with several weeks worth of wear, the shoes are breaking in NICE.

These are some of the best shoes I've ever worn. They are rugged and sturdy, providing great support, comfort and durability. And they look nice enough for me to wear to the office. This is my SECOND pair of Timberland Madison Summits. My first pair lasted about 3 years with almost daily wear.

My husband usually wears a size 14 shoe, but he had to order the 15 to get the best fit. He loves the comfort of the shoes and feels that the they are very well made. All in all, he is quite happy with them.

This is a great shoe. I live in a city so I'm walking everywhere and they are very comfortable. They have really good traction. Superb shoe for foul weather too. The previous pair I had for more than two years.

Seems great to start. Light and comfortable.I am a little concerned about long term wear inside -as this shoe has sort of a unique 'stretchy' liner 'system' which seems great to start, but may not last - TBD. I usually have purchased a similar shoe by Havana Joe and they last very well. I thought for about $70 less I'd give the Timberlands a try - as I have had good luck with their durability in the past.

I have been buying Timberland products for over 25 years because of the consistent quality and performance they provide. This is the second pair of Madisons that I have bought and only hope that they do not discontinue the line, as they have with other shoes that I have bought in the past. The only question I have is whether or not the Madison shoe can be re-soled.
