Lightweight, comfortable. The bronze leather looks just a little raggy close up, but that's not noticeable when the shoe is worn.

Based on the reviews I had higher expectations. I couldn't get the shoe all the way on and then when I tried to stretch the strap a little it started to come off of the shoe. I think this shoe is held together with sticky note glue. I can't imagine what would happen if you got it wet. This is not the shoe you are looking for.

I shopped all over for gladiator sandals and finally decided on these because of the cork sole. I thought they'd be comfortable - and I wasn't wrong. But what i didn't realize is how light they'd be! It's almost like being barefoot. The only negative is that you can't just slip them on and off and the buckles on the outside of your ankle are a little hard to manipulate... but that would be true of any sandal of this style.

Boy, have I gotten the compliments everytime I wear this shoe! I got this in bronze and it's a very nice color that goes with a lot of things. To top it off, they're comfortable too!

Awesome Gladiators

It took forever to find a gladiator that was comfy enough to walk around the city in and was stylish enough that I'd wear without spending $90. This is it. The cork sole is so comfy, and the straps don't give you blisters. I was hesitant to get it because I wasn't sure I liked the look, but it looks a lot better in person! Also, if you're an 8.5, get an 8. Sizing up to a 9 is going to give you a lot of room.
