My husband is quite happy with these sandals, and he is not easy to please, he does not like a shoe sandal type, nor does he like too much on the top, anyway as I say he is quite happy with these, so many thanks to your staff.

I have worn this style of shoe for years. They are pretty much always acceptable, depending, of course, on the event and your choice of skirt, dress, or slacks. I consider them timeless classics.

nice footbed but back strap really poor in holding onto heal due to the soft leather. Doesn't hold shape therefore often ends up underneath foot versus serving as a supportive strap on the back of foot

These sandals would be incredibly comfortable if they weren't oversized. I have bought other styles that fit great. This particular style seems to be cut for men (i.e., wider and longer).

I've been wearing Birkenstocks for over 10 years and will not wear any other brand of sandal. They are ridiculously comfortable. Even the break-in period is painless. With proper care (cork), these will last you for a long time and are worth the investment.

I reluctantly got rid of my last pair of birkenstocks after 8 years of significant use. They were still super comfortable, but just falling apart. One thing they should do is place the shoe size on the bottom of one of the traps rather than on the sole - it wears off rather quickly.

The shoes don't fit correctly. They are hard and notcomfortable to wear. The shoe curve around the toes isn't correct. Very unhappy with birkenstock. I need to return them.

Front ridge of sandal cuts into toe, maybe larger sandal would have been better. I ordered a 15 and that is my normal shoe size. The front ridge and rear ridge should be level instead of beveled.

I followed the lead of other reviews and ordered a size smaller, which turned out to be correct (European size 40 instead of my usual 41). Everything turned out to my satisfaction. They had the correct fit, were good looking, and are very comfortable. My previous pair of Birkenstocks lasted me for many years, so I can only guess that these will be very durable as well. They're worth the money.

This is the first Birkenstocks that I have purchased. Thankfully my son previously purchased a pair at a shoe store and bought an M. Therefore I assumed I needed an N as he has wide feet. I am glad I did buy a N because my feet tend to be just a tad bit narrow. The shoe feels very high quality but I am finding that I do need to get used to the stiffness and have been wearing them around the house a lot. They were recommended by a shoe doctor, so I feel confident in the shoe, but they do need some getting used to.

The 3 adjustable straps make this very easy to accommodate wide widths. I normally wear a 7.5 WW or WWW, and I have the straps adjusted to almost the smallest size possible. I really like not having to stretch out the leather for more width. The only downside is that the footbed is stiff. I'm hoping it'll become more flexible with wear.
Wears this shoe: Walking in warm weather and to work with jeans or shorts.
