Reviewer: David R from Central Ohio Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width This is the second pair of New Balance MR769 shoes I've purchased. I'd been having discomfort in my feet while working out and this shoe was recommended. It feel great to wear, flexes nicely and is very lightweight. It seems to breathe better than other athletic shoes I've tried. I bought a half size larger than my usual size and am happy I did. Reviewer: Anonymous from Shoe Size: Felt half size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width I use this shoe exclusively for all my running endeavors and I love it. Comfortable out of the box, little break-in time, and perfect support. This latest version tends to run about a half size small, so take that into account (especially if your feet have a tendency to swell). Great shoe :) Wears this shoe: Running Reviewer: Geoff R. from Missouri Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width This is the first time I have worn this shoe. I feel that the shoe is a haf size bigger than marked. Very comfortable shoe. Not big on the yellow color, but obviously that is just a personal thing. Wears this shoe: Leisure - A lot Reviewer: Anonymous from Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width My first run out on these shoes, I dropped 40 sec off my 5k time. That's probably because my old shoes were pretty warn out but I still loved these as the upgrade from the 768s Reviewer: bobkat from Idaho Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Generally good support. Soft heel counter wouldn't suit me for running but it's fine for walking. Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width good shoe but it breaks down too quick... Wears this shoe: walkin & runnin Reviewer: Randy B. from Minneapolis, MN Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I think I reviewed this shoe on a previous order, but here's what I have this time around: I've struggled for years in finding the best running shoe fit for my feet that measure just under size 15. In the past I end up buying size 15 in D width (most common offered by Asic and other companies. But this New Balance shoe is perfect fit of a B width, still plenty of toe box for distance running, and a near seamless inside finish for when I run triathlons without socks. This shoe feels like a mid-range cushion for those who do not pronate either direction. I rotate between two pairs of these shoes each run and have taken them for 1/2 marathon and trail running. After 13 years of using Asics (for the bigger toe box) I finally have a shoe true to my width in a size 15. Thanks NB. They were a little tight at first, but are fine now. He finds them very comfortable and good support. Wears this shoe: Everyday Reviewer: Paul from Tampa, FL Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I log about 9 miles a week -- no marathoner here -- and these shoes have perform well. I bought them because they were most similar to an older pair of NBs I had. I'm even happier with these than those as they seem lighter and certainly more stylish. And the price was right. But on the downside, the toe box has a rather pointy configuration, so there's not a lot of room in there. I think New Balance also sacrificed some much needed cushioning for weight savings - the metatarsal area of my foot gets quite sore from repeated shock after about 5 miles. It's a good shoe for general duty and light runs, but no marathoner.
