This is a fantastic addition to the Rockport line. The shoe works well with casual and business attire. \The Rockport shoes offer wide widths that I need and the shoe is very comfortable.If you are looking for a nice shoe to go with cotton pants (navy or khaki), look no further. This is certainly a shoe you will want to consider. I now own three pair and counting!

Easy On The Inner Sole

It's a very plain looking shoe, but it is delightfully comfortable. The padded insert makes it easy on the foot of anyone who is on their feet all day, as I am.

This shoe lives up to the expectations for Rockport! This was the second one purchased in this style, but in a different color. This is a shoe you can put on and wear all day, in comfort.

What I like about the shoe is that no matter how long you are walking in them, they are comfortable. They almost feel as if you are wearing a pair of sneakers. I walk about 40 blocks a day and when wearing other shoes, it begins to take a toll on my feet, but not with the Rockports.

Movement to a dress shoe

I smashed my ankle six years ago. The scar tissue has left me in a 13 4E. I got the Extra Wide 13 and it fit but was too wide. The 13 Wide shoe fit better, and I sent the Extra Wide pair back. Part of it was the dress shoe is cut lower at the ankle and it does not need to be so wide. I was wondering, after wearing the narrower shoe, if I could get into a normal 13. This is something I will have to try later.

Inadequate lateral support with orthotic

I chose this model because I've had good luck in the past using my orthotics in Rockports, and I thought the steel shank would help with the support against pronation (ankles bending in) that I needed. However, the shoe didn't provide support in that respect. It was nice looking, and comfortable in other respects.

I purchased the Rockport Margin because I was in need of a comfortable dress shoe. I have to wear orthodics and my feet are two different sizes and I'm not an 'easy fit.' I've only had the shoes for a few weeks now, but they are one of the most comfortable pairs I've had in a long time.

My husband has to be in a wedding. These were the only decent, conservative, WIDE men's shoes I could find that would fit him. So he is happy with them. He hasn't worn them yet, only tried them on. But so far he says they feel great.
