Having worn Bass products years and years ago and knowing the exceptional quality, I was sure that had not changed in these days of "shortcuts". The style has always been basic, which is to my liking. It is the first shoe I choose in my wardrobe for casual comfort. It is nice to know that some things never change in this changing world!

I am impressed with this shoe so far, the construction seems really high quality. I am normally a 9 1/2 and the 9 fits perfectly. I do not have wide feet which may make a difference. I was able to wear these out of the box without discomfort. I hope that they last a long time.

This loafer was found after a long search for a good old fashioned loafer with the original leather sole and style. The color is very nice,I usually wear burgundy but when I saw this color online,I tried and like it very much.Great arch support.

It is true to size. Classic style. I have the Red Patent Leather which is a beautiful twist on this classic style. It is a true red with a patent-like finish. Not the shiny almost plastic looking patent. If you touch the two shoes together they don't stick. It does shine but is not the laquered look. Beautiful. I love them.

My girlfriend LOVES these shoes! Per the reviews of this product I bought a 6 1/2 when her normal shoe size is a 7. However, she LOVES the fit, color, and quality of these shoes. As she said, "They are perfect"! I couldn't be happier.

These shoes are plain beautiful: well made and the patent leather is high quality. In one word, classy!A big plus is that I was able to fit my orthotic insoles by removing the original insoles, which were just lightly glued.I recommend ordering half a size below your usual.
Wears this shoe: To work, maybe to social events if weather does not allow high heals.
