I work in a hospital, so I bought these shoes mainly for comfort while I'm on my feet all day. I also wanted something cute enough to wear out when I'm not at work. Merrell gives the best of both worlds!

This is second pair of Merrell Encore MJ shoes I have. They are extremely comfortable and can be worn all day whether standing, walking or just sitting. Since I have had several foot problems, comfortable shoes have been difficult for me to find. I have found any Merrell shoes to be a good value, because they last for a long time.

I did need to exchange for a 1/2 size larger. Other than that, these shoes are perfect. So comfortable. I receive a compliment on them every time I wear them.

Merrells have a style like no other, and they're totally unique like my personality. They are casual with a classy look so they can be worn with different attires, and they are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever owned. I can wear them all day long and never think about my feet.

I had foot surgery in Sept 2008 on the bottom of my foot for plantar fibromitosis. In other words, I have a big lump on the bottom of my foot. Surgery helped some, but it hasn't completely gone away. The surgeon said to get Merrell clogs, which I can't wear because my feet are wide. But these fit WONDERFULLY and are so comfortable. I have them in midnight and brown. The midnight aren't really black and aren't really dark blue. I can wear them all day and my feet won't hurt. I wear them at work, at play, etc...I'll order some of the non-leather ones and see if they have the same fit and comfort. I would definitely tell everyone considering these to buy them.

The Women's Merrell Encore Leather MJ is a beautiful shoe. I love the suede. The best part about it is the comfort. The ortholite insole is very soft and easy for lots of walking, which I do at work. Adjusting the straps gives a good fit and allows the shoe to stay on without slipping off.

The shoe looks great, but it is a bit tight across the front. I will have to stretch it out a bit. I prefer shoes that you can wear right away and feel comfort. I will keep the shoes and hope they feel better after I wear them a bit.

I bought this shoe because I recently had Achilles tendon repair and needed a flat shoe that did not come up high on the heel and yet was supportive. The Ortho-lite foot bed feels especially comfortable with the plantar fasciitis that developed following the Achilles tendon surgery.

Very comfortable from the first day I wore them. Felt no need to "break them in." Adjustable strap is nice for thicker/thinner socks. An overall great shoe!

I cant figure out if they are a clog or mule or fake mary jane - I slide right out of them - and will return them as soon as it stops snowing. I usually love Merrel shoes - this one just didnt do it for me.

i have four pair of merrell encore style, shoes, i love them, i have a very high arch and metatarsal problems, and these shoes are so comfortable.The rounded toe box allows plenty of room for my toes. They are very stylish and i get compliments all the time.I hope you will come out with a denim or navy color in the near future.
