I purchased these shoes for my freshman son who is playing football and ice hockey concurrently. His feet are always a little sore, so he wanted a shoe with sufficient cushioning without giving up any support. When he used the shoes to hike up a local mountain with his team they worked great! Even though these are not trail shoes, the traction was awesome, they were lightweight, and they provided good air circulation. The true test was that his feet didn't hurt after walking for 2 hours straight.

The Saucony ProGrid Jazz 12 is an unbelievable athletic shoe. When I started daily treadmill walking this past June, both of my other pairs of athletic shoes dragged me down and just didn't fit right. My feet hurt after each exercise session. After much research, I bought the Saucony shoes, and this has proved to be a great decision. They fit like a glove, are light yet supportive, and give my feet a great feeling both during and after exercise. This athletic shoe is everything it's cracked up to be. I will always wear Saucony for exercise.

Just got my size 10 Saucony ProGrid Jazz 12 running shoes. Usually kick the New Balance, but read a few reviews of this shoe and I really like it. Although, where I used to run on a size 9 NB, this size 9 was waaaay too tight. Had to go up a full size. Advice: if you are at a 1/2 size, err on the upside. Overall a very comfortable shoe. Good support and very light. Feels more "snug" than my usual 700 series NB. I usually run 5 or 6 miles a few times a week, and the Saucony had no break-in time. Comfy from the get-go. Only problem with these shoes: How the heck do you pronounce Saucony?

It breaths really nicely and has a good cushion to it. I've worn them a few times so far and have been pleased. I would be happy to buy this shoe again.
