I like the Tretorn canvas sneakers very well. I am wearing a 2-year old pair right now which I have been more than happy with. I ordered the new pair from you because my older ones are starting to fray; I wear them close to every day. My existing pair has been very satisfactory. The things I like about them are: 1) they are not loud, i.e. garish and splashy; 2) they are very comfortable and easy to walk in and live with; and 3) they are versatile and relatively light-weight. For a foot sneaker, they are just plain nice; and they are made of cotton (for the most part) not oil. That's all. Thanks for your interest. John

I bought the sneakers (is that what you still call them?) for my boat, because they were low profile and looked like they could fit under the tow rail of my boat while I fished. When they arrived and I tried them on, I found them so comfy, I use them for all purposes, not only for my boat. They minimize my foot size and, as a result, minimize other parts of my body (which is good and bad).

I have owned Tretorns forever, but this shoe is a knockoff and is of the lowest quality. The shoe laces are spaghetti thin, the sweat vents are a joke, and the canvas is the lowest of quality.

I must say, when I received these shoes it brought a HUGE smile to my face. I wore these shoes when I was younger and had forgotten how incredibly light and flexible they were. Not to mention how well they go with "preppy" style clothes. I loved them when I was younger, and I LOVE them now...The Classics NEVER Go Out Of Style.
