Reviewer: Arnie from Florida Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width This is not the same shoe I grew up with. It feels cheap and provides no support. It's the last time I will order these. They are no where worth what I paid. Reviewer: Anonymous from Cincinnati, OH Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width This is my sister's favorite shoe, so I get her a pair every Christmas. Wears this shoe: Tennis and out and about Reviewer: Anonymous from I bought this for a friend. She has worn this brand for years - as I have. Reviewer: Sarah from Providence, RI Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I used to wear these in high-school(late 80's)and always loved them. I needed a pair of shoes to run around in and thought about Tretorns as I didn't want a bulky athletic sneaker. I don't think the canvas is as thick as it used to be but other than that they seem to be as good as I remembered them to be. Wears this shoe: Errands, around the house Reviewer: Anonymous from Tennessee Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I loved Tretorns when I was in highschool. However, these are not actually white. They are off white and very thin canvas. They are not as comfortable as I remember them to be either. Wears this shoe: any time I feel like being casual Reviewer: Mo from Syracuse NY Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I love these shoes. They're lightweight, sleeker than the usual sneaker, and very comfortable. I have wide feet with arthritic (knobby) toes, and these shoes are very gentle on my difficult feet. Wears this shoe: for casual and not-too-messy events (I want to keep them clean) Reviewer: anonymous from Charlotte, NC Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt wider than marked Tretorns, like anything else just aren't made like they used to be. They used to come in narrow width. I e-mailed the company website and was told they no longer make narrow. But, I like the look and convenience of a light-weight tennis shoe that doesn't look like I'm going to run a 10k. I'm glad to have found them. Wears this shoe: I wear sometimes to play a few holes of golf or going to the club. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: Reviewer: Kay from Dearborn, Michigan Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width The shoes are stylish and comfortable for running errands; lightweight. However, I like to take my dog for four mile walks and find that the heels do not have enough padding. My two year old Merrill brand shoes are the best for long walks including my trip to Alaska. I will not be taking them to wear on our upcoming annual labor day, 09.07.09, walk across the mackinaw bridge. Wears this shoe: errands Reviewer: KB from Wadsworth, Ohio Shoe Size: Felt true to size I was disappointed with this pair of Tretorn shoes. They seem to be a cheap imitation to the other Tretorn shoes I have gotten in the past. Wears this shoe: walking Reviewer: Pat from North Carolina Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I have been wearing Tretorn tennis shoes for 30 years. They are becoming hard to find, but are by far the most comfortable canvas shoe around. I was very pleased to find them on this website. Wears this shoe: Daily Reviewer: Chris from Seaside, CA Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width This is an excellent product! Wears this shoe: All the time Reviewer: Donna from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Shoe Size: Felt half size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width I am so happy that these were available again. I used to wear these to play tennis in the 70's and 80's. After reading all the reviews, I decided to order them a half size up, and they fit perfectly. I do have a wide foot (due to a bunion), but the 8 Mediums fit me perfectly. They feel and look great. You can wear these with jeans, shorts, capris, etc. If you do not like the look of a bulky sneaker, then Tretorns are the perfect sneakers for you. Wears this shoe: Shopping, running errands, sometimes to work 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: Reviewer: Sue from Minneapolis Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt wider than marked The quality of this shoe is so flimsy compared to the ones I've worn for 30 years. Even the shoelaces are sad and limp. Where are the arches and the lining. I don't even know what I'll wear but it won't be this brand any longer. Wears this shoe: I used to wear them everywhere - everyday Reviewer: LJ from Dallas, Texas Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I had these Tretorns in high school and loved them so much. I was so happy to see them again in a magazine recently and even happier when they arrived. They are comfortable for walking, and they look so much better than wearing running shoes or the tired Keds. Wears this shoe: To casual get-togethers where I have to stand or walk a lot Reviewer: Nicole from Clementon, NJ Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I love these shoes and have had a hard time finding them. Now I know where to go. Viewing reviews 1 - 16 of 43 | Next >> Return to product detail page
