It was a pleasant surprise that it was comfortable from the start. No break in period necessary. I prefer a more narrower feel. I guess I'll have to wear thicker socks to compensate. Very good value.

Maybe a fraction shorter than size marked. But tremendous value. I disliked the higher heel and sole which increased instability. I'm 11 1/2 Narrow, so shorter guys might like the extra height and stability may not be as relevant.

My feet get cold in Winter as I sit at a desk all day. These boots do the trick! No more cold feet. They actually look better than the picture and are extremely comfortable. I highly recommend these boots!

Felt a little narrow so returned for a wide. Return was hassle free and happy with the boot. Kept my feet warm and dry but sole traction is lacking. Tread is lacking. Good looking boot.

It was very comfortable with the first wearing - no rubbing or other negative characteristics. Warm and good traction in general. Looks good enough to wear most anywhere.

The Rainier 6" is an excellent boot in appearance and comfort. It's first introduction to the weather was in Colorado and the January tundra. I was happy to have them. They are warm, easy to get on and off, and versatile.
Wears this shoe: Mostly in less than desirable winter weather and for hiking.

Was looking for winter boots that came in a narrow width. These were the closest I could find. My second choice was MADE IN USA. These boots are very comfortable form day one. Didn't need any break in peroid. Best of all " MADE IN USA."

This was the only 11.5 narrow hiking boot I could find on your site. Luckly this boot was a great find. The only thing is that I had to contact the vendor for basic care instruction and length of laces, who responded excellently within 24 hours
