My son (age 3) needs a wide width and once again Stride Rite has a great shoe. Shoe is comfortable and protects the toes unlike many other sandals.

I've bought Stride Rite sandals before, but this shoe or style definitely doesn't fit like a glove. It does have a strap on the back to adjust and some adjusting in the top, but it's not as adjustable as I originally thought. The velcro is short and doesn't allow for tightening down for a medium width foot, but one that is on the more narrow side.

I'm not sure if it's because he's more into sandals, but my son isn't that interested in these shoes. When I do get them on his feet (a couple of times per week) he likes them. It's a great shoe, durable, cool and cool.

This is a sturdy shoe-sandal hybrid. I would suggest socks with them for the first few days. My toddler experienced a little blistering. Now they are worn in and really great summer shoes. I highly suggest them.

After a couple of days my 5 year old said they were his perfect shoes. I think the sizing chart was off. I was surprised we needed to order such a big size and they seem a little big on both boys.

These are such cute sandals! I bought them for my grandson and what is neat about them is the adjustable straps across the the top of the shoe and also the heel. They seem to be well made too.

Sturdy, good traction, and I like the closed toe. When we tried it on in the store the SA said this shoe runs wide, so my DS who is inbetween a normal and wide takes a regular in this shoe. There isn't a lot of room for him to grow, width-wise though.
