This is a good looking shoes, especially since I prefer square toed shoes over round. I originally ordered the shoes in a women's 7 but found that my toes were touching . I sent them back and exchanged them for an 8. The 8's are long enough but seem to be very wide. I have to wear thick socks with them and put the buckle on the first notch.I only wore once around the house and they seem like they are going to stretch even more around the width. If you are a true whole size these shoes are great!

I love my Dr Martens. They have always been my favorite shoe. The sole wears out before the shoe itself. You can ding them, and it still looks like part of the shoe. They are so comfortable, sometimes I forget I am wearing them.

I can't say enough wonderful things about these shoes! I love them so much I bought them in both brown and black. I keep joking that I'll never have to buy another pair of shoes again. They are perfect with jeans. I can also pair them with khakis for my office job. I do a bit of waitressing and have found these shoes to be more comfortable after long periods of time on my feet than some of my favorite athletic shoes. I highly recommend these as an all around great pair of shoes!

I wore Doc Martens as a kid and was very happy to see this alternative, slightly more feminine style. Initially these shoes felt heavy and awkward, but it truly only took 2 days for me to be completely comfortable in them. Stick with them because after the two day adjustment, they feel incredibly comfortable and look great with jeans!

Love the doc. Wanted big, chunky-cool shoes, but w/ a feminine bent, and these filled the bill. A little tight right across the top of my foot, but otherwise, everything you'd expect.
