Reviewer: Loa Gerberich from Wadsworth,Ohio Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width At first the shoe felt very supportive and comfortable but after two weeks, the shoe is not as comfortable or supportive. I wear these every day to walk and do daily activities. I would not recommend for people who need good support. If I need a snugger fit, I put the special thin innersoles (incl. in the box) underneath. (Since the orthotics provide such a high level of arch support, I gradually went down 2 half sizes in the Drew and also went from a W to M.)They provide fantastic support and are super-comfortable. Since the Orthofeet fit a little more snug than the Drews (inspite of being a larger size), I put them on first thing in the morning and change into the Drews mid- to late-afternoon. I have both in all-white and they look similar to regular athletic shoes. I very impressed at how comfortable they are. I use them only on my treadmill but when it comes time to get a new pair of "out door" shoe I will consider getting another pair. The rocking sole makes me want to walk and walk--and this is after having had two total knee replacements in the last six months and foot surgery 18 months ago. My mom can only walk with a walker and she does not have much feeling in her legs and she needs good support to be able to walk as much as she can. The shoes are very comfortable and gives her very good support. She loves the style of the shoe. We have ordered more than one type of drew shoes and will continue to order more.. This shoe ran true to size and width and is very comfortable. The pink panels are breathable mesh which allows your feet to remain dry. The insole is cushioned and comfortable for walking long distances. I would highly recommend this shoe. With the Drew Flash I have no foot pain and can walk properly. I wear the shoe every day. I don't care about the style of a shoe if it lets me walk all day without pain. I love this shoe and have just received my second pair. It's the only thing that feels comfortable on my narrow, surgically repaired toes. I wish they had a flat bottom sneaker that felt as good as the Drew Flash. The ridges in the sole collects all the dirt in the yard. I am now on my third pair and will continue to buy them. Wears this shoe: everyday, all day Reviewer: www.lightofbrian.com from GA Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked These are made for really, really THICK feet, not wide feet. I ordered an 8 wide and they were about a size too big and had room on top of my foot - about an inch! Never tried on shoes that were like that in my size. I guess these would be good for diabetics, but order extra wide if you normally wear a wide, and also about 1/2 to 1 size smaller. I'd go with 1/2 a size to be safe. As far as the width on the wide shoe, they still rubbed my little toe. :( Reviewer: Lanette from Fort Worth, TX Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Bought Drew Flash tennis shoes due to plantar fasciitis problems. These shoes are terrific! Double depth in-step with roomy toe area (I got the wide size). Removable inserts are great. I put my custom orthotics between the shoes' two inserts and my feet feel like they are walking on a pillow. I just ordered two more pairs of Drew shoes/sandals and received them today. Drew shoes are of very high quality and are well designed to accommodate custom orthotics without crowding your feet. Highly recommend. Reviewer: Leslie Moyer from CA Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I'm 55 yrs old with bunions, neuroma, wide feet and orthotics. Plenty of toe room. Feel great. I got the blue and I'm waiting for the pink to come in the mail. Wears this shoe: jeans Reviewer: gp from IL Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked I've lived in New Balance shoes for at least 15 years, but after 1 to 1.5 hr walks, my feet ache. I decided to look at the diabetic/therapeutic category for higher cushioned shoes. Of all the ones I tried (Aetrex, NB, Drew), I purchased this model. On my first long walk, my feet were much less fatigued than usual. They should be great for summer with the mesh, I only wish they had an all leather version of this model. One note for wide feet - I buy NB, D-width, SL-2, for the wider toe box (can't wear SL-1). I ended up buying the WW which matched the SL-2 toe box width better even though W should have been a D width.I did try the Drew Motion and felt less comfortable than the Flash. The Flash also seems to be one of the few walking shoes with a high mileage outsole. Wears this shoe: dog walking?twice a day! Reviewer: Renee' King from Melbourne, Florida Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I purchased these shoes because of the 9 foot surgeries and remaining hammertoes. My feet always hurt and there is never enough room for my toes in regular athletic shoes. This shoe is extremely comfortable and there is plenty of room in the toe bed. They accommodate my custom orthodics nicely. I also like the fact that it comes in several widths (I chose the WW). I highly recommend this shoe for those looking for comfort that have foot conditions. Wears this shoe: almost daily Viewing reviews 1 - 16 of 19 | Next >> Return to product detail page
