These shoes were the second attempt at finding a good long distance all purpose hiking shoe. They fit great and are really comfortable over long walks without the weight of a traditional hiking boot. You can really tell they are engineered specifically for women.

I love these shoes. These are my favorite pair of shoes now. My husband is getting sick of hearing me say how great they are, I think he is jealous.I like the fit, the quality, the way they feel when you walk long distances in them and they are pretty stylish for casual shoes. I have had several compliments on them.I wore them on my vacation to the Smokies and they were they only shoes I wanted to wear.I can't stand putting on dress shoes or high heels after wearing these. These shoes will spoil you!!!!!!!!

Needed this pair of shoes ASAP as my previous pair had worn out after three years of heavy use. Got a good price at shoebuy and they had it here in just a few days so I had it in time for my hiking trip. I wear it with blue Birkenstock inserts for additional support as I have flat arches. They work great together.

I am very pleased with my purchase. This is a very comfortable shoe and I did not have to break them in. The shoe feels true to its size and I don't have the hassle of re-tying throughout the day. I slip them on in the morning and wear them for hours straight. I wear them to work, with the dogs and out at night. I would/will definitely get another pair.

This is a comfortable, lightweight shoe. I like the corded lace sytem, although have to pull the cords pretty tight to achieve a snug supported fit. I have a large amount of overhang, which I wrap under the cords to keep from sticking out or stepping on. Great for hiking, walking, and long periods of standing.

They look nice. Bought them because my sons absolutely love Merrill shoes and sandals. For me though, I had to return the first pair because they were way too small. I received a pair that were a size larger than my normal size, but they are still too narrow. Guess I'll just live with them.
Wears this shoe: Just once every couple of days to try and break them in.

I bought these to replace a well worn out pair of Chameleons that fit me beautifully, and I hope this updated version will do the same. I especially like the stretch loop rather than traditional shoelaces; once I have them snugged up I can forget about them all day. They fit my foot like a glove with a thin sock, and don't make my feet hot.

This is an excellent shoe for me. I'm on my feet 10 to 12 hours a day with my job, and these shoes really support my feet. They are comfortable right out of the box with no break in period. Merrells makes great shoes! I have one pair of Merrells for every day use and another pair for work.

Merrell makes great, rugged shoes. My kids outgrow these shoes before they can wear them out! This shoe looks good and my daughter absolutely loves it. She took her new shoes with her to a week-long Girl Scout summer camp and had no break-in pain whatsoever. With these shoes she's ready for anything!

I wanted a nice looking casual walking/hiking shoe with decent support. I liked the concept of no laces but was concerned about the ease of slipping the shoe on and off and whether it would be too tight across the arch (sometimes a problem with my foot that has been broken several times). I've been out for a few 3-4 mile walks-on paved trails-and found the shoe supportive, and comfortable from the start, no break in time required. I'm pleased with the purchase and am looking forward to giving them a good workout traipsing around Peru.
Wears this shoe: Long walks/hikes. In the winter will wear as an all purpose casual shoe.

For all my walking and hiking needs, Merrell shoes have been my choice. I usually order a half size to a full size up from what I normally wear. I was not disappointed with the Merrell Chameleon Arc Stretch. I put them on for the first time and began my 4-mile walk. There was no need to work them in; I just put them on and off I went.

I love the feel of this shoe but I am not happy that it has an elastic fastener instead of tie laces. The shoes fit perfectly and feel great. I have a very flat foot and this shoe gives great support and comfort.
