I made a mistake

I have been wearing Merrells for years and love them, they never need breaking in. After years of daily use, I tried to replace my Merrell sneakers with the exact same shoe, but these aren't it. These feel like hiking boots, not what I expected. They are true to size, I think, but hurt on one bunion. I hope they give. Right now I wear them indoors hoping to break them in. So far, no luck. But not Merrell's fault and even though both Shoebuy and Merrell seem generous with returns, I will keep trying to break them in.

This is my third generation of the Merrell Chameleon. I wear a half size larger (9.5) Chameleon than my dress shoe size (9). They are durable and very supportive. Being waterproof is a must for me. I am a very satisfied customer.

I purchased these shoes to have a versatile, four-season alternative to sneakers. I have not been disappointed in fit, comfort or performance! I have already worn them to walk through the mall and in the snow. It is the all-purpose shoe I was hoping for!

Great shoe overall. Bought these for my trip to Italy in the fall. Wore them everyday, all day long. Very comfortable for the most part; (only minor complaint was not quite enough arch support after a long day of walking). Otherwise, love them- stylish and functional. The pewter color looks great with jeans or khaki's.

I have winter and summer slip ons from Merrell, so thought I'd give their hikers a try. I am technically a 10.5, though slowly realizing that I am now an 11. The 10.5s were great, but one big toe just wasn't going to be happy. So an exchange for the 11s was in order. Haven't looked back, wear them every day for my walk.

I am so pleased. They fit great right out of the box, and I've found that spending a bit more for Gore Tex means more comfort, warmth, moisture-resistance and longer wear. I have yet to kill a pair of Merrell's - they just get demoted from everyday to gardening/messy work shoes.This shoe looks good (darker colors for winter), is solid and heavy, comfortable and will be great for everyday wear through the winter.If you want a lightweight shoe, there are other Merrell's that will work better for you.I love my Merrell's. All of them. :)

I really liked these shoes. I took them on a few hikes in Colorado and only had a few complaints. First, there was some rubbing on the back of my heels, but that almost always happens with me and new shoes. The other thing was that I had to tie the laces tight so my ankles wouldn't jostle around, which caused some bruising on my foot - that's never happened to me, but it was nothing I couldn't get over. Overall, these shoes suited me pretty well and I think they were well worth the purchase.

This shoe fits about a half size too small. It is exceptionally hot and a tad on the heavy side. However, it is very sturdy, provides excellent traction, solid footing, resists water and has a nice fit provided I order a half size bigger (which seems common for me with respect to this brand). The edges at the ankle rub a little, but otherwise a good shoe that I expect to last me a long time. My complaints about it aren't enough to justify returning it.

I bought the shoes mostly to wear when it snows since they're waterproof. They look great, feel wonderful, and have lasted really well. I will not hesitate to buy another pair since they're some of the best fitting shoes I've ever owned.

A very comfortable shoe. Wears well. But the color was darker than I had expected. I purchased the shoe because Merell makes a good shoe that holds up well in weather, but still looks good for everyday activities.

I LOVE these shoes! I frequently walk through the fields and orchards around our home - these shoes give excellent support and keep me dry when the grass is damp. Much better than wearing rubber shoes that don't breath. They are so perfect for me that I ordered a second pair - I'd hate to find that they are discontinued when the first pair wears out so I wanted a backup.
