It's a good looking shoe with sturdy and good support. I bought them for my 78 year old father who has Parkingson's; he shuffles his feet and uses a walker and falls easily.

orthofeet 510 is a great shoe

The orthofeet 510 series of shoe is a great shoe over-all. The only dislike I have is with the velcro. After repeated use, the velcro fails to stick. The shoe is still in great shape when the velcro fails. I usually have to take it to a shoe repair place to get the velcro replaced. I have multiple pairs of this shoe. I had a stroke and wear a brace on my left leg and this shoe works well in accomodating the brace and has enough room in the toe to be comfortable.

My husband has severe peripheral neuropathy in his feet, and is alsoa diabetic. He has tried many pairs of "diabetic" shoes but while someof them fit, some are really unattractive and make his size 14 foot lookeven bigger. He was so pleased to actually receive compliments on hisnew shoes, and to see that they made his feet look more normal andeven a little smaller! He has worn them for several weeks now and saidthey are very comfortable. I'm ordering him another pair in a differentcolor.

First time I've bought this model but am a repeat buyer of other Orthofeet models - hoping to be just as satisfied.The depth & width of the shoe is the determining factor for me. I wear the shoes for work and as I something have to go formal (suit etc) it would be great to see a model which presents somewhat more "dressy".

Narrow shoes are hard to find

Shoe companies do not offer shoes in slim or AA sizes. They think all feet are wide like Donald Duck's, which makes it very hard to find shoes that fit. Insoles help but not very satisfactory.

We were advised to check in to these shoes by my husband's doctor. He really has a hard time with his feet. They hurt all the time. And he has to walk with a cane. These shoes seem to help with his balance, and he says they are comfortable.

My husband was in an accident years ago that left one leg shorter then the other.This has resulted in pain in his back and knee from limping. When I came across these shoes I didn't know anything about this type of shoe, but after reading that they use inserts on the inside to build them up I wondered if this could be the answer. The shoes are wonderful and they look great. They work super with one shoe having the inserts and my husband is pleased with them.

My husband has thanked me many, many times when he wears the Orthofeet 510. He really likes the roomy toe box which adds comfort. He is a stickler for quality and comfort and with these shoes he gets both! The shoes really look as good as they feel!

I experienced pain in my right foot when walking, it was diagnosed by the docter as heel spurs. He advised me to look for comfortable and supporting shoes. The Orthofeet 510 seemed to be the answer, and I am not disappointed. Excellent quality shoe, with good support for my heel.
