A really great shoe

This shoe is made for people who have foot problems and specifically for diabetics. I am not diabetic but do have neuropathy and this shoe is really comfortable to wear and adds very good support. It has a removable insole if you want to add your own. It is a smart looking shoe as well and does not look like a specially made shoe. Shoe buy said this shoe tends to run a little small but when I ordered the shoe 1/2 size larger it was just a little large. I still can wear it and am very happy. I am thinking of buying another pair.

I struggle with plantar fasciitis off and on each year. These shoes are very, very comfortable even without my inserts. I have worn them for a few weeks and know that I will eventually have to add my good feet inserts as the shoes wear down. But so far, very comfortable. No heel pain, no arch pain, no lower and mid back pain from my heel strikes either. I have a medium to large frame 6'1/280lbs and my heel strike does not bother my feet nor back in these shoes. Wonderful shoes, would highly recommend. I also have a different pair of Orthofeet shoes that look like athletic shoes - they fit like a glove right out of the box - just like these shoes. Very comfortable without feeling mush and hard to walk in like other shoes.
Wears this shoe: I wear it to work and to church each week. No problems!

I have been wearing the 410 model for many years. I have been on the Casino Floor for over 29 years. No other shoe has the support and feel like the 410. I am basically standing on concrete, as the rugs get worn down, by the constant foot traffic.I have never had any break-in difficulties with this shoe.Give it a try, if you are not happy, return it. I doubt you will.

One Pair Is Enough

There are many things to like about these shoes. They are for the most part comfortable, provided you buy them at least 1/2 a size larger than your normal shoe size, especially if you don't mind wearing something that looks like it was styled after a brick on your feet. These shoes have a very slick sole, that offers no traction. If you wish to keep an upright persepctive on the world, you might think twice before ordering these shoes.

My husband has been so happy with 2 previous pairs of Orthofeet, he wanted a dress pair of black. And they didn't disappoint. The wide toe box and the comfortable smooth lining guarantee no rubbing or chafing. He loves them!

Bought these shoes because I'm diabetic and have lots of foot pain. These shoes fit perfectly and seem to hold your feet tight with support that gives you a high comfort level

Orthofeet Extra depth shoe 410

I have a stiff and enlarged big toe joint on one foot, so chose the 410 specifically for its extra depth and comfortable sounding insoles. I am wearing them with only the orthotic insoles, but even though I removed the two additional insoles, I still had to slit the top near the tongue to get my worst foot in. I like the shoes with these adjustments, but expected a bit more depth.

My dad has some major fitting issues with shoes. He has been looking for a comfortable black shoe for years and has had little success. Most felt good in the store but caused pain when he wore them for longer periods of time. The shoes arrived and they fit like a glove. He keeps saying that he can't believe he didn't even have to "wear them in"! He couldn't be more delighted with his new shoes that feel like "old friends".

Shoes are very soft.The only bad thing is they wear out pretty quick,other then that they are worth the money,which is pretty reasonable.Shipping was also very quick.

I like how comfortable the shoe is and the easy of putting it on. The only drawback, is the are not corporate styling, so I limit myself when I wear the shoes. Otherwise, I wear them most of the time.
