I have very difficult requirements for shoes. I'm a supinator and have had four ankle operations that make it hard to walk without stressing some ankle tendons. This is the first shoe that -- so far -- seems to meet my needs. My heel is positioned lower than other store-brand athletic shoes, which is great for me. The lateral stability is outstanding. The comfort is excellent. The styling fits many situations.
Wears this shoe: Most of the time. Walking, working out, around town with jeans.

Great shoe right out of the box. I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes as I have a wide foot. I have worn these shoes to work 2 days in a row (11 hour shifts). This is the first time I haven't had any pain at the end of the day. Nice cushion and padding, good support and nice roomy toe box. I plan to try other models

This is an extremely comfortable walking shoe. I walk five miles daily and this shoe hugs my feet. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

This shoe felt very comfortable almost immediately, although I wish it had a loop on the tongue for the lace to pass through. I wore New Balance Postal walkers previously, and the Orthofeet were as comfortable, if not moreso. They also are holding their good looks better. My foot feels secure and stable in this shoe. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

These shoes were ordered for my husband and he sings praises over them. The wide width is very comfortable and the construction belies the fact that they are light as a feather. He is on his feet practically all day and now "lives" in his Orthofeet 641. They are as handsome to look at as they are comfortable. Thanks also for the offer of $20 through Paypal.

I bought this shoe because I was looking for a comfortable shoe that didn't rub, chafe or put pressure points on my feet. I've had bunion surgery, hammer toe and fallen arches, so my feet needed some real TLC. What a joy, great fit, and best of all I have NO PAIN in my feet after wearing for extended periods of time. I'm on my feet much of the day, walking on cement floors, running my business. What a pleasure!

Shoe fits great and it is very comfortable. My dislike is that there is no spot on the tounge to place the lace through and as a result, the tounge wants to slip to the side of the shoe and has to be redone every so often.

This was my third pair of Orthofeet shoes to order and I was looking forward to having a casual pair to wear for everyday. Unfortunately this pair had to be returned. The toe box has the slightest of narrowing in the end and I found it to be just a bit too narrow. The toe box also felt like it might not be as deep as the 550 and the 581 styles I have purchased. Otherwise the length and width seemed fine. Plan to try some of the new styles now available.

Best shoe I've bought in a long time. Almost hate to take them off. If you are a diabetic or have feet problems, you would be well off buying this shoe. Not only are they comfortable but they actually stabilize your foot (especially climbing stairs).
