The overall shoe appearance is very nice. They have a soft sole and very supportive insole. I have an extremely wide foot so the extra wide width was nice but the leather upper isn't as supportive as I would have liked. Once standing, my side of foot still went over the outer edge. I still like them and they fit better than most wide width shoes.

my podiatrist put in higher arch supports plus firmer orthotic. But that's incidental to my needs. The shoes overall received an A+.

This is my second pair of these shoes. The first pair had the velcro straps rather than the laces. They were great, but I bought the lace-up ones this time because after several years the velcro begins to lose its grip. I am extremely pleased with these shoes; they are definitely the most comfortable walking shoes ever for me, and I have been walking for over 30 years. They are light-weight, and the inner sole molds to the shape of your foot so beautifully that you are 100% comfortable when walking. The extra width and depth of the shoe also allow room for any foot irregularities, so that your feet are completely comfortable. I also like the laces, which are a strong, stretchy material and have good-looking navy edges. Order and shipping process went quickly and smoothly.

I wore these shoes all day.I work in surgery and I'm on my feet all day don't get to sit down they felt good I'm so glad I brought these shoes.

These were comfortable out of the box. I ordered 1/2 size larger than normal as recommended and that size was perfect. My orthotics fit right in. I will buy these again.

I was skeptical about trying another pair of diabetic shoes because I've had no luck with them. This pair is wonderful! I didn't have to break them in. They fit my orthotics. They have a roomy toe area and they are just cushiony enough when I walk. I have gout, plantar faciitis, hamnmer toes and bunions. To find a pair of shoes I can actually wear is a miracle to me. In fact, I'm ordering a second pair in case they quit making these.

I liked it very well, but had to order a size 1 1/2 larger than normal and also a wide but they work great and feel very good on my arches.

I have NEVER tried on and worn a shoe this comfortable! It came out of the box, went on my feet, and I've not only not had any breaking-in time, they soothe my poor old feet. For six years, I've looked for a shoe that will alleviate the pain of "idiopathic peripheral neuropathy"- this is it. My first pair of Orthofeet was the Fisherman, and though it was very comfortable, these surpass it.So glad I found this brand!

I love this shoe so much! It's the only one I wear 90% of the time. So comfortable and doesn't need to be broken in. I walk 2 miles a day and they are the best shoes to walk in. You'll love them!

Great Shoe

I recently purchased a pair of Orthofeet and plan on purchasing another pair for Fall and Winter. Being Disabled I have a very hard time finding either sneakers or shoes that are comfortable and stand up for more then 2 weeks. I have been told by numerous retailers that good shoes should last at least 3 months. I found out it is not true. With the Orthofeet I can stand and work at the counter for more then 5 minutes and I can walk a lot better then in any other shoe. All though I have found them to be hot on a couple occasions, they are not as bothersom hot as any other shoe. My feet tend tu feel like they're burning in all most anything. HAving Spinal Stenosis, among other things, I have found that I don't seem to wobble walking like in any other shoe. It doesn't mean I can get rid of the cane, but I sure feel more surefooted. In my eyes, I do not feel old, 62, even though I have had times since struck that I have. Now being more sure footed really helps a lot. I would reccomend this brand to any one. I all ready have braged to my Specialist about them.

My brother told me to get these shoes, because he had purchased them for his Italy trip and they kept his feet comfortable - and it was true for my trip to Italy! However, if you wear thick socks, get a half size larger. Also, the black color is great for older people who don't like to wear "tennis shoes" - the black version will fit right in with their outfit.
