I wouldn't order a full size larger but a half size bigger might be better. Adjustable strap great for people with foot swelling and/or circulation issues. Non-irritating, secure in water, and easy removal. This shoe fits the bill and was a good value as well. Wears this shoe: When walking on beaches. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: Reviewer: k. Ray from Northern California Shoe Width: Felt wider than marked I like the style, easy on, easy off. Because of the extra width the arch support doesn't line up with your arch. The strap should have longer velcro to adjust the closure Feels too loose. Wears this shoe: for water aerobics class Reviewer: Nancy W. from Ohio Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width These were purchased as a gift for my 94 year old mother who lives in Florida. I don't know if she wears them around the pool...but she says: "they're the most cushioned and comfortable shoes she has ever worn, and she's increased her walking from 2 miles a day to four". What can you say, she's 94. I may end up buying more when she wears these out. She's pleased so I'm pleased. Reviewer: christine E. from Fort Worth, Texas Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Water shoe is great if your in the pool teaching the whole time but I also have to teach on the deck so I really need a water shoe that has a thicker sole that has more support. I sold the shoes to one of my water ladies and she really liked them because she has a wide foot and has a hard time finding water shoes that fit her. Wears this shoe: I only tried them on. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: Reviewer: 8TH KID from Tacoma, Washington Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I was a first time buyer of water shoes. Most of the women in my water aerobics class already had them. I went for the Mary Jane style with the strap just in case the shoes were a bit big. They fit great and I have received many compliments which I think is kind of funny. I guess fashion and style matter even in the pool and under water. A water walking shoe that can be slipped on and off easily and quickly. It has some arch support too. Some reviewers felt the shoe wider than marked, but it has, after all, a flexible mesh body and meant to accomodate a variety of foot shapes. But cinching the velcro strap firmly keeps the shoe aligned well. I wear a 7B and this fit fine. Tread gave good traction on the pool bottom, and also on the shiny black tiles in the center lines, which I used to slip & slide on in my other water shooes. This is definitely a useful water shoe. Wears this shoe: Five days a week in the pool aeorbics and water walking classes. Reviewer: Mary Ann Franks from Laguna Niguel, CA Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I bought the shoes for when I do exercises in the pool which includes a lot of walking--backward/forward/sideways. Without the shoes the pool bottom was tough on my tender toes/toenails. The shoes are great/easier to put on than my previous ones. Only complaint: on the third wearing one of the straps pulled loose. Maybe I tugged too hard when I connected the Velcro. I am planning to use my sewing machine to sew it back onto the loop holder. They are the most comfortable shoes both of us have ever had. Then I bought a pair for a woman in our water aerobics class who had tried several other kinds unsuccessfully. She loves them She has been telling everyone at the pool how great they are. I then bought a second pair for myself to wear when I go to the exercise room. This show fits the bill. Very comfortable, dries quickly and is pretty true to size although may be wide for some. Wears this shoe: I wear it at the gym to swim and for water aerobic classes 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful: Reviewer: Denise from San Diego Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt wider than marked I bought this shoe because we were doing a lot of water activities on a Caribbean cruise. I wanted a shoe that would be easy to slide on and off so the Mary Jane style seemed perfect. It ended up being a little sloppy on my foot. Part of that was because the shoe runs a little large. But mainly, the Mary Jane strap is not enough to hold the shoe securely if you're doing anything in the water other than gently walking around on a fairly flat surface. Wears this shoe: Climbing around in waterfalls with slippery rocks, playing on beaches w/shells Reviewer: Brandie from Pocatello, Idaho Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I really like these shoes they are very comfy Wears this shoe: when I go swimming or to the beach 0 of 1 people found the following review helpful: Reviewer: B.R. from ST. LOUIS, MO. Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width The swim shoes I bought fit true to size. They really helped me in the water with my arthritis classes that I take 4 days a week especially when your feet are hitting the bottom of the pool. Also walking in the water. I really like the shoes. Wears this shoe: Every time I take my swim class Viewing reviews 1 - 16 of 17 | Next >> Return to product detail page
