The shoe runs a little short length wise. Luckily I'm a wide so my toes are not that long. But I can see how your toes could rub up on the tip. So if you have long toes definitely take the next size.

This is a great shoe. I bought them about 1 year ago, and I have worn the hiking many, many times on a variety of trail types. They are extremely comfortable and durable. They look great and provide great traction with moderate ankle support. I have the chocolate colored ones, and they hardly shoe the dirt. I also wear them a lot with jeans.

I bought these shoes for outdoor hiking trails (day hikes only). The color is nice, the fit was great and the soles are not slick. I replaced the flimsy insole with my custom orthotics and they fit perfect. The shoe laces are slippery and I have to double knot them, but that's okay.

Like many mfgs, wish Vasque was more consistent in sizing. I bought a pair of MICA last year that are heavier duty (off pavement) and 9.5 fits fine. I had to exchange these for a 10 not so much because of the length but because of the toe box depth. My big toe would hit the top of the shoe above it when I walked in the 9.5. great price for pavement walks and hikes. Great service from Shoebuy

I bought this shoe to wear everywhere.. from red clay to sand, asphalt to boulders, yoga to the court.I've worn the pair for about a month. THe Mantra held up to it's reputation..not to mention the terrain.. and I couldn't be more pleased. I usually wear a women's 9.5, so I ordered a 10 (as advised) and the fit was perfect right out of the box. The Mantra also had no break in time, and has been consistently comfy. The vibram sole gets and keeps a grip, without retaining terrain in the tread. I've wiped mud off them, but never had to clean the tread. With breathable mesh uppers. I haven't had sore knees, or lower back fatigue while wearing the Vasque Mantra Overall, I think the Mantra will carry me as far as my endurance will take me!

I do alot of work in the yard, at the pond and hiking around our property. This shoe is the perfect fit for my life style. It is comfortable and my feet are not tired or sore at the end of the day. I highly recommend these shoes.

I hiked on an 8 mile rugged rocky terrain with these shoes on. I survived without any blisters or calluses. The shoes are lightweight, very comfortable right out of the box, and do not require any breaking in.

Normally shoes on me are too narrow so I need to buy an extra size up and then I'm stuck with a lot of room at my toe part. These shoes are awesome! You will not be disappointed!

Love these shoes, comfortable right out of the box, little to no break in period. I wear them all the time and I have had problems in the past with other shoes fitting correctly after wearing them for a while, because I have had foot reconstruction after a severe injury, most fitted shoes just never work for long. These are perfect!!

THis shoe looks great and feels very comfortable. There is no break in period and the traction is excellent. Usually I wear a size 9, but with these I could have tried a 9.5. they are still comfortable and I wear them often.
