Always a big fan of Doc Mart, but takes a few wears to break it down. Also the edge could be a bit softer. It chafed the shin and calf. Otherwise great utilitarian boots, it has the look, the durability and the comfort after a few wears.

These are very comfortable boots right out of the box. Break in time was only a couple of wearings. These definetly look like work boots, but I wear them to work with dress pants anyway...kind of a rogue look!

I really am impressed with the fit and comfortableness of this wellington type steel toed work boot. I have worn work boots for 30 years and I have to give this boot a top rating. This style is light and padded for comfort around the ankle. No heel slippage. I have a narrow heel so I am impressed with the fit overall. I have had good luck with this brand before and this style has been most impressive.
Wears this shoe: every day on the job from 6 to 10 hours. Lots of walking on concrete.

I bought these boots for my husband. He says there is no break in time---which is a huge plus and that they are the most comfortable boots he's ever worn w/ good ankle support. The leather isn't going to be real durable in an industrial setting and the soles can collect dirt and debris and become a little slick--but they are comfy.

I love the boot, no break in time at all the never hurt your feet I buy 1-2 pairs a year. If I could change one thing about the it would be the exterior leather,it is not very tough, it scratches and chips easy. But I will still buy the boot again.

These steel toe boots, true to size, are comfortable on concrete for the whole duration of my 12 hour shift. They also go great with my leather motorcycle attire.

They are great, I have had them for two years and wore them every day. The only problem I have had is that a week or so ago i had to put insoles in mine because they had streched a bit from being wet, that tightend right back up. the sole is still as good as it was when I got them two years ago I am on hear getting anouther pair because I am afrid that they may quit making them

I have worn Docs for the last 15 years. Although I was disappointed that they do not make them in England any longer, but rather China (go figure), I'm happy to say that the quality seems comparable, despite my suspicions to the contrary. These boots took me A long time to break in, and I got an initial chaffing at the top of the boot and on my toe (steel toe, which made me worried), but I believe that has gone away now that they are broken in, finally--after several weeks of constant wear. They are great! Easy to put on, warm, and stylish. The first pair of shoes I'd ever bought on the internet, and it has been a good experience.

I am A firefighter/paramedic.I bought this boot to wear as duty boots for work. These boots are very comfortable and have no break in time needed. They have great ankle support and and warm too. These boots are A great buy.

Although I personally like the look of a laced boot, I really enjoy being able to just pull this boot on. I was apprehensive about the steel toes because my last steel-toed boots felt like lead. - These however don't feel any heavier than standard workboots. They are very comfortable on day one, with no break-in required. I have always loved Dr. Martins, and these are no exception.

Buy these boots. I am a firefighter and use them as my station boots. They are comfortable, light, and best of all no laces to tie on those after midnight runs. Buy them so they never discontinue this model. I want to be able to get them for the rest of my career.
