These shoes are the best. Quality, comfort, and strength are all there. Safety of a industrial boot, but comfortable on your feet all day and enough room for your foot to move so it's not constricted. No complaints about them. Amazing boots, I will always buy Dr. Martens.

Its much better than having to put on heel straps or forgetting to hook up wrist straps.I also had a pair of these boots save my toes during a motorcycle accident, steel toes do help!

Shoe is very wide and fits like a man's shoe. My normal shoe size is an 8 - 8.5 wide. Half a size smaller would have been better than described on the sizing chart. It is relatively lightweight and does not take on water when I am tredging through my muddy project site.

First let me say that this is my 2nd purchase from Shoebuy.com and I was completely satisfied both times. These boots I ordered this time are made of sturdy construction and they last a little over two years. They do last longer but they get pretty banged up at work so I replace every two years. One of the best things about these boots is the safety grip and you know in the winter how you get out of the car and get shocked every time Well, that doesn't happen wearing these boots! Never! I love these boots and I will never buy another brand of boot for work.

That said, these boots are the best I've ever owned. I was disappointed to see my earlier favorite (similar to this boot) had been discontinued, apparently superceded by this model. I was pleased to find that I liked this model even more than the old one (which I had probably bought half a dozen pairs of over the years). This new boot has all the industrial features I like, plus it's even better looking that the previous model - in particular, the steel-toes in this one don't look like "clown shoes" the way the older model's did -- these steel toed boots could pass for normal boots. The construction is outstanding. The only downside to Dr. Martens boots is their gummy no-slip sole tends to wear faster than other shoes I've owned... but that's a price I'm certainly willing to pay.

I have been wearing docs for years. I decided to try these for work instead of the 1460's and I am glad. They seem to fit alot better. I can't explain it, they're just more comfortable to stand in all day. Plus the steel toe is nice to have.
